G. B. Pant Institute of Technology, a leading Institute of Govt. of NCT of Delhi has been playing a vital role in the field of Technical Education. 

The Institute had a reputation of 55 years as it was established in 1961, and was renamed after the distinguished freedom fighter Sh. Govind Ballabh Pant. 

The Institute is spread over a plot area of 20.25 acres. It consists of spacious academic complexes, residential complex, workshops, edusat facilities, ICT equipped lecture theatres and playfield with green and parking area.
