What is a Vocational Course

Vocational courses are in general more practical and skills-based than academic degrees, but they are often taught at universities as well as colleges and technical institutes.

A vocational course is either career or trade-specific. It can be rewarding to students because it offers the benefits of less time and expenditure. Completion of a vocational degree takes about 2 years to complete, allowing the graduate to be hire able at an earlier time than a Bachelor's Degree-seeking student.
Vocational education is education that prepares people to work in a trade, in a craft, as a technician, or in support roles in professions such as engineering, accountancy, nursing, medicine, architecture, or law.
